Walking to work with kangaroos

Joel works by a beautiful bike path that I've blogged about earlier.  Some days instead of driving all the way to work, he parks about five kilometres away and walks on the path the rest of the way.  This is what he saw a few days ago.  The fence the kangaroo jumped over is to hold in horses, so it's probably about 1.5 metres high.

Completely different from seeing one in a zoo.  I'll be hanging out on this trail to try to see it myself in the future.
